Premium pace
Eight trekking days from the western side, with more time and a quieter opening.
Lemosho approaches from the west, opening with quieter forest and the wide Shira landscape before joining the southern circuit. The additional trekking day is the point: more time at altitude, more room to enjoy the mountain and a less compressed summit build-up.
A guide to the shape of the trip. The final itinerary is confirmed before travel and adapts to season, conditions and your pace.
Private transfer, hotel check-in, equipment review and guide briefing in the Kilimanjaro area.
Complete park formalities and begin through forest to the first designated camp.
Move from forest into heath and moorland as the wider Shira landscape opens.
Use a measured day across the plateau, with pace and any acclimatisation walk decided by the guide.
Climb higher during the day, then descend to Barranco to sleep lower and report symptoms honestly.
Cross the Barranco section under guide instruction and continue to Karanga.
Reach high camp, organise equipment, rest and review summit-night decisions.
Proceed toward Stella Point and Uhuru Peak only while health, timing and conditions remain acceptable, then descend to Mweka Camp.
Complete the descent, sign out and return to the confirmed hotel for recovery.
Transfer to the airport or continue with safari and Zanzibar arrangements.
Continue into Tarangire and Ngorongoro once you have had a genuine recovery night.
Finish beside the Indian Ocean with a protected flight schedule and private transfers.
Choose a quieter property for the nights either side of the climb, where rest matters most.
Specific properties are confirmed in your quotation once dates, availability and rates are approved.
