Booking Terms

Every Urithi journey is quoted individually. We do not publish fixed or indicative prices, because park fees, conservation charges, supplier rates, taxes, season and occupancy all affect the real cost of a journey.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it, and is subject to availability at the time you confirm.

A booking is confirmed only when Urithi issues a written confirmation and the agreed deposit has been received. Until then, no accommodation, flight, permit or vehicle is held for you.

Each journey page on this website lists what is typically included and excluded. The confirmed itinerary and quotation always take precedence over the website.

Changes requested after confirmation may incur costs from lodges, airlines and other suppliers. Cancellation terms vary by supplier and season and are set out in your quotation.

Urithi may need to change routing, accommodation, activities or timings because of weather, road or water conditions, flight schedules, conservation rules, park access or safety. Where a change is required, we will arrange the closest suitable alternative.

Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travelling with Urithi. For Kilimanjaro climbs, your policy must expressly cover trekking and emergency evacuation to the highest planned altitude. For Zanzibar, foreign non-resident visitors are currently required to hold the official Zanzibar inbound travel insurance.

Wildlife sightings, migration movements, river crossings, calving, whale sharks, chimpanzee encounters, waterfall flow, tides, wind and weather are all natural and cannot be guaranteed. Our guides plan around current conditions, and a guide's safety decision is always final.

Urithi operates with licensed guides, required ranger support and community consent. We ask travellers to follow guide instructions, park rules, wildlife distances and photography guidance, and to treat the communities that host us with respect.
