Four nights gives Katavi the time its remoteness demands. The programme follows water — the Katuma River, seasonal lakes and floodplains — with room for an approved walk, night drive or fly-camping element where these are quoted and operational.

Day 1 — Fly into Katavi
Travel on the confirmed light-aircraft service, meet the camp team at the stated airstrip and begin a first wildlife drive if arrival time, weather and park access permit.
Day 2 — Rivers and floodplains
Explore the most productive habitats for current water and wildlife conditions, with time for interpretation, photography and an unhurried midday break.
Day 3 — Katavi at a slower pace
Use a full day for a different sector, longer observation windows and specialist interests such as birding or photography.
Day 4 — Choose your wilderness layer
Continue wildlife drives or add an approved walk, night drive or fly-camping element when quoted, operational and suitable.
Day 5 — Final drive and onward flight
Use the available morning around the confirmed departure, then transfer to the airstrip for Dar, Ruaha, Mahale or the approved onward connection.
